I am a self-taught artist with a background in IT Support, Digital Media and Animation. I gained a Diploma in Digital Media from North East Worcestershire College, followed by a BA (Hons) in Animation from the University of Worcester. I have also undertaken courses with the Will Kemp Art School in Cornwall and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

I have a wide appreciation of art, from different genres and movements to the rich history that has shaped them. My own practice is influenced by Abstract Expressionism, Fauvism, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism and Still Life. I am particularly drawn to the use of colour, expression and experimentation, and enjoy exploring how these elements can influence the mood and character of a painting.

Drawing is also an important part of my practice, particularly working in pencil and charcoal. I enjoy developing ideas through drawing as well as painting, and I value the freedom that different materials and techniques can bring.

I love painting and drawing and enjoy working across a variety of mediums, including oils, acrylics, watercolours and mixed media. My approach is open and exploratory, allowing me to experiment with different styles, materials and ideas while continuing to develop my own artistic voice.
